OSME Conference

My OSME exhibition showcased my original Drawstring Origani designs, influenced by pleated origami and kirigami. It also focused on the interplay between structure and flexibility, exploring architectural and engineering applications.
The 8th International Meeting on Origami in Science, Mathematics and Education (8OSME) occurred at Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia, from the 16th to the 18th of July 2024. 

OSME is the quadrennial meeting on the intersections between origami, science, mathematics, and education (with additional ties to history, art, and design, among other fields.) It is a peer-reviewed academic conference that also produces a series of books of peer-reviewed papers, the OrigamiN books
The most recent meeting was 7OSME, held in Oxford, UK, September 5–7, 2018.

I was invited to the conference as a plenary speaker, which was an excellent opportunity to showcase my unique craft and connect with engineering and educational professionals on an international platform.
